How to get there – Public Transport
To get around in Vienna, it is best to take the public transport. We are very proud of it. Also, we are glad to announce, that Wiener Linien, the public transport provider, is offering 10% discount on tickets booked online. This offer is available from 60 days prior to the gathering. We will post the link here.
To reach the Europahaus, you can take either the underground U4 to Hütteldorf or the tram 49 to Hütteldorf, Bujattigasse.
End of the line U4 Hütteldorf
From there it’s either a 12-minute walk or 2 bus stops with 49A, 50A, 450 oder 451 to Wolfersberggasse. To your opposite you will see the Europahaus Wien.
End of the tram line 49
From the city centre you can reach the Europahaus by tram line 49 to Hütteldorf. There is also the possibility to change to the tram line 49 at the U3 station Hütteldorf.
If you reach the end of the tram line 49 take a 3-minute walk in the direction out of town.

How to get there – from the airport
(All prices need to be validated and are subject to change)
S-Bahn – this is the most cost effective way:
Take the train S7 towards Floridsdorf to the station Landstraße – Wien Mitte. There you change to the underground U4 towards Hütteldorf. Then follow the description at the top, called “Public Transport”.
You will need a ticket for two zones, costing EUR 4,80. For all information on public transport please visit www.wienerlinien.at.

Train: Your can also take the train from the Airport to Hauptbahnhof (connect to U1) or Bahnhof Meidling (connect to U6). It also costs only 4,80 EUR.
City Airport Train: Take the CAT to Landstrasse – Wien Mitte, then change onto the U4 towards Hütteldorf. This option is only slightly faster than the S-Bahn though it costs a lot more.
One way ticket for the CAT costs EUR 11,00, a return ticket costs EUR 19,00. In addition you will need a One Way ticket for public transport EUR 2,40. 24hrs ticket EUR 8,00. For further information on the CAT please visit www.cityairporttrain.com.
Pre-booked Airport Transfer: Prices are around 25-30 EUR. Please book at least 24 hours in advance.
Taxi/Cab – this is the most expensive way: Taxis are available directly outside of Vienna International Airport. It will cost around 50 EUR.
DriveNow and car2go: Should you be a member of DriveNow or car2go (or both) you can also get a car at the airport. Though there is no guarantee for this. It costs 10 EUR (airport fee) plus the price per minute drive.

How to get there – by train
There are many train connections to and from Vienna. Most will end or pass either Wien Hauptbahnhof and/or Bahnhof Meidling.
From Meidling: The most consistent way is to take the U6 towards Floridsdorf and to change at Längenfeldgasse to the U4 towards Hütteldorf (you need to change the platform). Then follow the description above at “Public Transport”.
From Main Station: U1 towards Leopoldau until Karlsplatz. Then change to U4 towards Hütteldorf and follow the description above.
Should you come from the west of Austria, then the Westbahn can bring you to Wien Hütteldorf. From there follow the description above on getting to the Europahaus by public transport.
How to get there – by car
From the west (A1):
Follow A1 to Albert-Schweitzer-Gasse in Vienna, take exit 9-Auhof on the A1. Follow B223 to the destination on the right-hand side.
Or, follow Wientalstraße until you reach the place-name sign “Wien”, at the next traffic light take the left into Bergmillergasse, next traffic light left into Linzer Straße, and after 200m turn left. You are at Europahaus Wien.
From the south:
From the A2, exit towards Wiental, Altmannsdorferstraße, Grünbergstraße, Winkelmannstraße, turn left into Linzer Straße
